Unfortunately the majority of the State of Georgia in now under a class IV water ban. If we do not receive sufficient rainfall to replenish our lakes and water supplies some Counties reservoirs are predicted to be out of water by December and they will be on a rationing status
*Note: Water from an alternative source -pumping from a personal creek or well - also face difficulty during drought and are unlikely to recharge. Also, drawing from these bodies does impact streams,rivers, and lakes that are fed by these sources. If an individual has an alternate source, a sign MUST be posted in a clear visibility, so there are no questions.
