Master Gardeners who earn advanced certification in WaterSmart Landscape Design will be trained to assist homeowner clientele on how to minimize the environmental impacts from pesticides, fertilizers, yard waste, soil erosion and stormwater runoff. Advanced

ai ning.html Master Gardener classes are open to certified Master Gardeners who are willing to serve as resource persons for their community, local Extension office, and fellow Master Gardeners. This program is designed to qualify Master Gardeners to attain a Gold Star Level.

Participants must attend all three modules to receive the required credits for a Gold Star. Master Gardeners must have completed the initial MG Training Program and 50-hour volunteer work requirement, have a current active status, and local County Extension office written approval to attend. Master Gardeners need not be members of the Georgia Master Gardener Association to attend.
