The Hall County Master Gardeners are sponsoring a Tissue Culture Workshop:

What: Tissue Culture Workshop (Basic and Advanced)

 

When: Basic Workshop Wednesday, May 21, 2008          8:30 a.m. until 3:00

p.m.

            Advanced Workshop: Thursday, May 22, 2008     8:30 a.m. until

            3:00 p.m.

 

Where: Chicopee Woods Agricultural Center Activities Building,

Gainesville, Georgia

 

Content: Hands-on, practical workshop to learn basic and advanced tissue

culture propagation of plants.

 

Workshop facilitator: Dr. Ron Clay, Ph.D., assistant professor of biology

at Macon State College´s Division of Natural Sciences, Macon, Georgia.

 

Workshop fee:

$30.00 for Day 1, Basic Workshop only

$50.00 for Day 1, Basic Workshop and Day 2 Advanced Workshop.

Day 2 participants must attend Day 1 Basic Workshop.

 

Fee includes box lunch each day, workshop supplies, informational CD.

I-985 to Exit 20, bear right at exit. Turn right at traffic light at

Calvary Church Road, at the Kangaroo service station. Follow Calvary

Church Road two and ½ miles to Chicopee Woods Ag Center, on left. Drive

straight back to the activities building.
