The Georgia Master Naturalist program is an Adult Environmental Education
course developed by UGA Cooperative Extension and the Warnell School of Forest Resources for people who wish to be more informed about habitats, eco-systems, and the natural environments of our state.
Classes will be held each Wednesday March 19 - May 14. 9am-4pm Bring a lunch each day. Classes are held at various locations around the Atlanta area including Rockdale Extension,
Dekalb Extension Envir Ed center, Newman Wetland Center, Charlie Elliott, Arabia Mtn, etc.
The nine topic days are: Entomology, Urban Forestry, Greenspace Issues, Water Quality,
Granite Outcrop Ecology, Birding, Botany, Wildlife, and Misc Day (timber, native american history/archaeology in area green cemetery).
Registration is $195 for one person (or $345 if your spouse is taking the course. You will get one set of materials.)
Registration includes class fees, binder, materials, refreshments, Master Naturalist badge, Master Naturalist polo shirt, certificate and graduation.
Registration is due no later than March 12th.
